Terms of service

These terms cover use of elizabethbookkeeping.uk and the client portal. Engagements for accountancy services are also covered by an individual engagement letter, which takes precedence where they differ.

The service

We provide an AI-assisted bookkeeping platform with human accountant review. AI-drafted entries do not form part of your books until approved. You remain responsible for providing complete and accurate records and for reviewing information before filings are submitted.

Fees

The fee is fixed per tax year — £100 for the self-employed and £350 for limited companies up to £500,000 turnover — collected monthly across the months remaining in the tax year. Businesses above £500,000 are quoted individually. Fees may change at renewal with notice.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time. You keep access for the period you have paid for, and you can export your books whenever you like — they are yours.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the platform: no unlawful content, no attempts to breach security, no use of the service for money laundering or fraud. We may suspend accounts that put other clients’ data at risk.

Liability

We carry professional indemnity insurance and take care over your books, but we can’t accept liability for losses caused by incomplete or inaccurate records supplied to us, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
